Key West Ferry
Travel in Style on the Key West Express
The Key West ferry runs on a regular basis between the city of Key West located at the southern end of the fabulous Florida Keys and Fort Myers, Florida. At certain times of the year the ferry incorporates a stopover in Marco Island, Florida.
Taking the ferry is both a safe and fun way to travel between the two cities. Plus, you'll get to take in the ocean air and relax aboard as you prepare for your vacation. The Key West Express service uses modern vessels which run like on-time to deliver you to your destination.
Why the Key West Express?
Not only is the ferry a great addition for vacationers, it is also a fun option for Florida west coast mainlanders who simply want to get out of town for a day or two. It saves you the hassle of having trying to organize and book flights or drive the long way around to get to Key West from the west coast of Florida. That drive will take at least 5 and more likely 6 or 7 hours from southern cities like Naples, Ft. Myers, or Punta Gorda.
On the ferry you don't have to worry about the kids complaining and asking "Are we there yet?" as they will be comfortable in the spacious and air-conditioned modern boats. A trip across the water will have them excited for the opportunities to try new water sports and explore the underwater life of Key West when they arrive.
If you're a Florida resident and you've never made the trip down to Key West, you’re missing out. There is something here for everyone, whether you're a newlywed, a family with teenagers, or an older couple looking for new experiences or relaxation.
